Remembering...

Bayley wrote this yesterday and I just HAD to have it. Love you Bayley!

Her voice carried a tune, a broken lullaby.
My thoughts wander, like lost leaves in Autumn, as i lay in her presence. Her aura glowed;
years of motherhood only made it brighter.
Experience and wear showed on her face, as well as in her hands, but her eyes
shone like the lamp light in the corner of the dark, room.
Floral scents and cookie jars;
Photographs and piano music;
striped decor and novels;
ironing boards and sewing machines;
all these things remind me of her and her good taste in.. well, Life.
Somehow her pink lipstick defined her, and her style was always up to date.
Up until her very last day, she was smiling.
Smiling, but ready to be with her sweetheart.
They always said they couldn't live without each other.
Her beauty and grace in everything she did amazed me,
but thats just the way my
grandma was.
